HAIR LEGEND RICHARD THOMPSON JOINS ALFAPARF ONCE AGAIN!

Richard Thompson, a leading name in the world of hair, joins forces with ALFAPARF MILANO once again to work with our group as part of an exclusive partnership agreement.

Famous worldwide as a creative director and the front man of MAHOGANY HAIRDRESSING, he decided to leave his prestigious London-based style team to begin a new phase in his life, which has brought him to Italy. This choice was welcomed by the ALFAPARF Group as an opportunity for a renewed partnership.

Born in Manchester, England he began his career as an apprentice at the exclusive James and Peter salon. At the age of 21 he moved to London to work for Vidal Sassoon. He then went on to work with other companies in the sector as Creative Director until he opened his first salon, MAHOGANY, in Oxford at 28. This is where Thompson's philosophy was shaped, which can be summarized in just one word: "listening". As a Stylist, Thompson firmly believes that it is essential to work in harmony with clients, striving to find the solutions best suited to each of them. This is why he developed cutting and colouring techniques which complement the client's style and personality.

This philosophy contributed to the success of the style team led by Thompson recognized internationally with some of the industry's leading awards: British Hairdresser of the Year - Hairdresser Journal, British Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year, President of British Fellowship, AIPP International Avant Garde Hairdresser - International Trade Press Association, British Master Hairdressing in Australia. Thomson and his team have ruled the stage in several of the world's leading theatres, including almost 25 years of attendance at the prestigious Alternative Hair Show in London.

Now, Thompson is sharing his vast experience available to ALFAPARF MILANO and our partner salons the world over with the aim of further developing products and education that support the vision of ALFAPARF: "Provide Professionals the best solutions to enhance everyone's beauty."
